Real Time is about a hit man (Randy Quaid) who gives acompulsive gambler (Jay Baruchel) one hour to live. Themovie takes place in real time and its ultimate subjectis what we do with the time we have in this world.The film begins when Andy, a hyperactive compulsivegambler, is plucked off the street by the calm yetimposing Reuban. Reuban tells Andy that he's beendispatched to kill him. Andy doesn't believe him atfirst. He figures it's just another one of Reuban's scaretactics to get him to pay off his gambling debt. After afew punches to the head and a gun held to his face, Andyfinally gets it. Reuban is really going to kill him --but not before Andy gets an hour to do whatever he'd likebefore he dies.
